2009 Training Instructor Application Forms

White Sail Coach.    FILLED = Application Closed

Under the supervision of the Training Director SYC, the White Sail Coach plans, organizes and delivers sailing classes at the White Sail I,II,&III levels.  He/She demonstrates and instructs sailing activities and techniques.  He/She inspects equipment and facility for safety and takes corrective action where necessary and also monitors classes to ensure safety and provides emergency or first aid assistance when required.

Bronze Sail Coach.  FILLED = Application Closed

Under the supervision of the Training Director SYC, the Bronze Sail Coach plans, organizes and delivers sailing classes at the Bronze IV & V levels. He/she supervises junior instructors, demonstrates and instructs sailing activities and techniques, assists in the design of “Learn to Sail” Programs and implements changes as required. He/She provides basic maintenance to all boats and equipment used in programs and monitors classes to ensure safety and provides emergency or first aid assistance when required.
