Competent keelboat day skipper in familiar waters and moderate
conditions.

Content: CYA Basic Cruising

Duration: Four full
days (0900 – 1600)

Daily Course
Times: 0900 – 1600 (unless noted otherwise). Drop off for
children 0830 – Pick up by 1630.

Early registration is
encouraged as course loading is limited in order to provide optimum
instructor/student ratios.

HST will be added to course
cost.
Special tax receipts for recreational programs will be provided.

A 10% discount will be
given to all Shearwater Yacht Club members and
family members of active Military.

All fees must be paid in full at
registration. Refunds will be offered at the following rates, if an
early withdrawal from a course become necessary:
o
One Week Youth course – 50%
of the fee, up to the second day of the course
o
Three Week Youth course –
50% of the fee, up to the end of the first week of the course
o
Four Week Youth course –
50% of the fee, up to the end of the second week
o
Adult Learn-to-Sail – 50%
of the fee, up to the third day of instruction
o
Adult Learn-to-Cruise – 50%
of the fee, up to the second day of instruction

participant should bring the following items to class:

morning and afternoon

Proper rubber soled foot
wear NOT FLIP FLOPS something that will stay on in the water

Shorty Wetsuit recommended
